Weight depends on the chosen material:

• Cowhide: around 4.8 kg for a typical adult size
• Kangaroo leather: up to ~2.5 kg lighter, noticeably more comfortable for long sessions

Rider size also matters. A children’s suit is naturally much lighter than an adult’s. Among adults, larger sizes require more material and are therefore heavier.

Thanks to a made-to-measure fit, weight is distributed evenly across the body and is hardly noticeable while riding. Many racers prefer the lighter kangaroo option for greater mobility and reduced fatigue.
